Thanks to a collaboration between several different agencies, the Summit County Health Department is offering a Wood Burning Stove Exchange Program. The program aims to reduce exposure to wood smoke pollution by helping low to moderate income residents with access to cleaner and healthier sources of heat. The exchange is made possible by a grant from the EPA. The grant not only makes the stove exchange possible but also helps fund education and awareness to underserved populations about the adverse health effects of wood smoke.
